Quincy Watts hit the second of two fourth quarter threes with 2:00 minutes remaining to help North Babylon (7-3) re-take the lead, 54-53. Half Hollow Hills East tied it with 30 seconds remaining on a Ricky Scarabino basket to force overtime at 58-58. Senior Chris Welsh led all scorers with a season-high 27 points. Scarabino led Hills East with 18 points and John Selby added 16. Hills East is 4-7.

Brian Cervantes' late basket on an inbounds play provided the final margin for Lindenhurst. Lindenhurst (2-4) exploded for 40 second half points. Chris Johnson scored all of his game-high 20 points in the second half, including 3 of 6 from beyond the arc. Joe Chismar finished with six points and six rebounds and held North Babylon's Vinny Aprano scoreless in the second half. Aprano had 17 points and hit five three-pointers.
