How to log on to your e-mail account
1. Click on the Classlink icon that says Outlook E-Mail. When the web page comes up select “continue to this web site.” Next you will see the logon screen as shown below.
2. Where it says domain\user name enter nbsd\your Classlink log on name and then where it says password, your
Classlink password. Ex: nbsd\jsmith

HOW TO SEND E-MAIL
1. Once you are logged on you will see the following screen. You have a navigation panel on your left. Your inbox is where all your new e-mail will go. You can also view sent mail, calendar, tasks, etc.

2. To send an e-mail select “new” up top, and a new e-mail will pop up as shown in the image below.

3. Enter the recipient's e-mail address (ex: jtlc@optonline.net) or enter the recipient's first or last name and select the 5th icon from the left as shown below.

4. Select the name you want to send to, type in a subject then your message content and when done select send.
HOW TO SEARCH THE DIRECTORY
1. If you do not know how to spell the recipient name or want to send to a group (ie: staff) you can search the directory. To search the directory for an e-mail address, select To… as shown below.

2. This will open a search box, enter the first few letters of the first or last name and select the search icon as shown in the picture below. This is your global address book where everyone in the district is listed including global groups (ex: Principals, Staff, Certified Teachers, IT).

3. This will bring up the recipient you are looking for as shown below.

4. Click on the name of the person or group and that name will be inserted into the To - > field. You can repeat this process if you want to send e-mail to multiple recipients that don’t belong to a group.
5. Click Ok after the names you want in the To - > field, which is located on the bottom right of the above picture.
HOW TO SCHEDULE YOUR CALENDAR
1. To schedule a new appointment select calendar on the left hand side navigation panel as shown on the next page.

2. Next select new to schedule a new appointment and a window will pop up that will allow you to enter information for that appointment such as subject or appointment name, location, start time of the appointment, end time of the appointment, whether or not you would like a pop up reminder and how long before the appointment you want the reminder to show.
3. Enter in the body of the appointment a description or notes you would like to view and save and close.

How To add a Personal Contact
1. Select the contact field on the left navigation panel, the click new up at the top of the screen as shown below.

2. Next fill in the contact fields such as first name, last name, e-mail, phone number, etc. Scroll down to view all the field options. The File as option lists how the contact will be displayed. You can use the drop down arrow to change the view.

3. When you are finished select save and close.

Accessing Outlook E-mail From Home
There will be a link on the website after June 15th for you to access your e-mail from home or you can open up an Internet browser and type:
