The
Moses 8th grade Basketball Team defeated Great Hollow Middle
School, of Smithtown, 70-58 on Wednesday. Mert Sonmez led the way with 12
points for the Bulldogs. Nick DiFazio, Joe Turnator and Charles Carter also
had strong games. With two more games to play the team is still unbeaten.
The team will go for the undefeated season next week playing Copaigue on
Wednesday and finishing up with a tough Deer Park team on Friday. Both
games are at home.
Mrs. Lemanczyk:
On
Wednesday, the Girl’s Varsity Bowling Team placed twice in singles/doubles
County Tournament. Valerie Thomas and her partner Abigail Casale placed 3rd
in Division B in doubles, and Emily Garren and her partner Chandler Manning
placed 2nd in Division C. Great job ladies.

After a slow start
the 8th grade Basketball Team’s offense kicked it into high gear
& defeated Bay Shore 66-38 on Monday. The win pushed their record to 7-0 on
the season. A balanced attack, with scoring from Darren Opoku, Charles
Carter, William Davanzo & Freddie Stewart, was key for the Bulldogs. Noah
Buffins & Elijah Morris were the high scorers with 12 & 10 points each. The
boys will look to make it 8-0 & a perfect 5-0 season on the road today at
Great Hollow Middle School in Smithtown.

of Huntington 73-58 to keep the undefeated season alive. Aaron Lee had an
outstanding game scoring 22 points. Jordan Martin, Saadat Turpin & Noah
Buffins also had strong games for the Bulldogs. Today the team plays Bay
Shore at home in what should be their biggest game of the season. Come out
& cheer on the boys to victory. Tip off is at 4:00pm.

Moses 8th grade Basketball Team improved their record to 5 & 0
with a 61-37 win against Great Hollow Middle School of Smithtown. Isaiah
Moore led the scoring with 13 points & Freddie Stewart had a strong game
with 11 points. The boys look to avenge a loss last year to Finley Middle
School of Huntington today. A win would keep the team undefeated & give
them a 6 & 0 record. Good luck boys.
