I continue to be so proud of all that our students accomplish and how they represent our schools. Our students are working hard in the classroom, for their musical concerts, and on the athletic fields . Go Bulldogs!
On May 18, 2024 the District Art Show will take place at North Babylon High School from 10am-12pm.

Giselle Townsend is a 5th grade student at Marion G. Vedder Elementary School. As President of the MGV Student Council, Giselle strives to make MGV the place to be for all our students. She has worked together with the members of the MGV Student Council to develop and oversee special activities including food drives, spirit weeks and school store sales to support the North Babylon community as well as special causes such as Autism Awareness Month.
Giselle is an outstanding representative of MGV and a role model to her peers. She has been a member of the MGV Student Council since 3rd grade and truly wants to make a difference. Giselle has a remarkable gift for mathematics and continues to put her academics at the top of her list of her priorities. Giselle actively participated in the Fitness Club this Fall as well as the Drama Club this Spring and she is also an active member of the Math Marvels Club. Last year she represented MGV on the 4th Grade Team for the Suffolk County Math Competition. Giselle also loves the orchestra and has been an exceptional part of the MGV 4th and 5th Grade Orchestra.
Giselle is an extremely hardworking and serious student who takes pride in all her accomplishments. She is kind, speaks up for others, helps out wherever needed, and demonstrates perseverance in all areas. We are so proud of her. MGV is the place to be because of students like Giselle!
