Salary: $17.30 per hour
The transporter is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and secure movement of products and materials that support district-wide food service operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving and organizing vendor deliveries and maintaining documentation.
- Transferring food products into refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Transporting food and supplies between district buildings.
- Document large volume freezer inventory.
- Making off campus deliveries and pickups.
- Collecting Food Service Department mail.
- Operating the food service department van to complete required transportation tasks.
- Maintaining daily communication with the Food Service Director and Cooks to ensure operational continuity.

Robert Moses Middle School - 1 full time position
North Babylon High School - 1 full time position
Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and first aid to students and staff.

Assess and manage student health concerns and medical emergencies.

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and district policies.

Maintain accurate and confidential health records.

Monitor and support students with chronic health conditions, including asthma, diabetes, allergies, and seizure disorders.
-
Collaborate with families, physicians, counselors, teachers, and administrators to support student health needs.
-
Ensure compliance with New York State immunization requirements and health regulations.
-
Participate in health screenings, emergency preparedness planning, and school safety initiatives.
-
Promote wellness and health education throughout the school community.
Qualifications

Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License required.

Experience working with school-aged children preferred.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Salary and Benefits
