Sixth Graders Get Warm Welcome at Robert Moses

Posted Date: 8/28/24 (3:02 PM)

The incoming sixth graders from Robert Moses Middle School learned about their new school environment, checked out their classes, tried their lockers and met some of their new classmates during sixth grade orientation on Aug. 26.

To kick off the day, students and parents were welcomed by Robert Moses Middle School Principal Stephanie Hasandras, Assistant Principal Daniel Cassagne and Assistant Principal Tim Rodgers. They learned about the expectations for the upcoming school year and many different offerings including clubs, academic support and more at Robert Moses Middle School.

Following the presentations, students broke into groups and were introduced to their student ambassadors, eighth graders who offered tours of the building. The student ambassadors gave the sixth graders a firsthand perspective and provided valuable insights to navigate the new building. When the building tours were complete, the sixth graders had the chance to walk through schedules and test out their new lockers.
