Budget Vote PSA

Students in the North Babylon High School Television Broadcasting class recently produced an exclusive interview with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kenneth Graham to discuss the upcoming school budget vote and a change in the polling location. Under the guidance of their teacher James Avila, the student-led production showcased their skills both on and off camera. Ayden Sproul was the on-air interviewer, while Myriam Abbas worked the switchboard, Gabriel Rivera ran the sound/teleprompter, Joshua Castelli produced the graphics and Milani Russell and Kasey Ferris were operating the camera.

RMMS Jazz Band at Lincoln Center

The Robert Moses Middle School jazz band attended the Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Concert Series titled "Who is Gerry Mulligan?.” The event took students “on a journey into the cool, mellow world of the legendary saxophonist and composer. From his groundbreaking piano-less quartet to his innovative arrangements.” The performance was led by Grammy winner and former Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra member Ted Nash. The Future of Jazz Orchestra brings his timeless music to life with dynamic performances and captivating stories.
