MGV Celebrates ‘Superhero’ Dads

In recognition of Father’s Day, second graders at Marion G. Vedder Elementary School shared all the reasons their fathers are special to them. The superhero celebration gave students the opportunity to speak about their dads – and their many superpowers – while gathered in the auditorium. One by one, students placed a cape on their dad and spoke about their favorite things. Following the literary celebration, the students and dads gathered outside for a friendly game of wiffle ball.
