Jean Morales Venegas Earns All-State Recognition as Violinist

North Babylon student Jean Morales Venegas has been named an All-State musician in recognition of his outstanding talent as a violinist.

All-State recognition is among the highest honors a student musician can receive and reflects Jean’s exceptional ability, dedication and commitment to his craft. 

"Being selected All-State mean a lot because I really sacrificed a lot during my junior year of high school," he said. "All the practice hours, all the mentorship that I had, I had to make it up to everyone who supported me and it was really great to get a perfect score on my audition."

His achievement also highlights the strength of North Babylon’s music program and the talented students developing their skills throughout the school community.

Jean’s accomplishment is a source of pride for his family, teachers, classmates and the entire North Babylon School District.
