Special Education

To the North Babylon Community,

As I begin my second year as the Assistant Superintendent of Pupil Personnel Services and Special Education, I am filled with both gratitude and excitement for the journey ahead. This past year has been a privilege—working alongside our dedicated educators, administrators, families, and community partners to support the needs of our students. Together, we have laid a strong foundation, and I am eager to continue building upon that work with a renewed vision for the year ahead.

My passion remains rooted in the belief that every student deserves access to high-quality, individualized educational experiences that foster growth, independence, and confidence. As we enter this new school year, my focus is on expanding opportunities for our students with disabilities by strengthening inclusive practices, deepening family engagement, and ensuring that every child is empowered to reach their fullest potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Looking ahead, I am committed to fostering collaboration and transparency, encouraging open dialogue, and creating spaces where every voice is heard and valued. Together, we will continue to cultivate a culture of equity, innovation, and excellence in special education.

I am especially excited to reconnect with students, families, and staff and to learn from your experiences and ideas as we shape the future of our programs. Please know that my door is always open—your input, feedback, and partnership are essential to our shared success.

Thank you for your trust and support as we begin this new chapter. With great hope and optimism, I look forward to a year filled with growth, achievement, and opportunity for all of our students.
