Celebrating Dot Day with Creative Designs

As International Day is celebrated on Sept. 15, the second graders at Parliament Place Elementary School recently completed their first art project of the year, inspired by Peter H. Reynolds’ book, “The Dot.” Students in Ms. Kampson’s class created an abstract masterpiece, then traced and cut circles from their work to create a Dot Day design. Second grader Jake Roth is pictured creating his one-of-a-kind design.
