Posted Date: 10/02/24 (12:00 AM)
In celebration of International Dot Day on Sept. 15, students in Mrs. Bzdyk’s library classes at William E. DeLuca Elementary School learned how the movement began in 2009. Dot Day is a worldwide celebration of courage, bravery, creativity and kindness based on the book “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds. Students listened to a reading of the book and watched the author’s introduction to the yearly celebration. Each student received a certificate to recognize their part among the 20 million people making their mark worldwide.
