Woods Road Fourth Graders Explore Cultures

Fourth graders at Woods Road Elementary School recently participated in a workshop hosted by Mr. McGee of Progression Partners. The workshop explored the meaning of culture and cultural differences by promoting an environment of respect, curiosity and understanding. Students learned about and identified commonalities among various cultures, recognizing the beauty in diversity. To showcase their own identities, they created a worksheet and then discussed their similarities and differences with classmates.
