North Babylon High School Receives AP Honors

North Babylon High School has been named a bronze member of the 2024 Advanced Placement School Honor Roll, with 40 percent of seniors taking at least one AP Exam during high school, 27 percent scoring a three or higher on at least one AP Exam and 15 percent taking five or more AP exams. In addition, the school has been also recognized with an AP Access Award for providing all students the chance to participate in AP, including those from underrepresented populations.

In 2024, North Babylon students took a total of 686 Advanced Placement examinations and were offered 22 Advanced Placement courses taught by 21 teachers. North Babylon High School Principal Dr. Jonathan Klomp said, “The College Board’s recognition of our school are reflections of the outstanding dedication of our Advanced Placement teachers and the remarkable achievements of our students. I am incredibly proud of the commitment and hard work that have brought us to this moment. Our AP teachers have gone above and beyond to create opportunities for our students, helping our students reach new heights of academic achievement.”
