Racing for Heart Health at Belmont Elementary

Fun, physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle were all key components of the annual fun run hosted by Belmont Elementary School in the North Babylon School District on Oct. 2. Students from all grade levels ran alongside classmates on the outdoor track. Each year, the physical education teachers hold the run to remind students to stay active and heart healthy. They discussed different activities and eating habits with classes before heading to the cafeteria to enjoy a nutritious breakfast together.
