Posted Date: 10/27/24 (11:00 PM)

In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, Robert Moses Middle School held an afterschool activity on Oct. 16 conducted by the World Language teachers. Students rotated through three different classrooms. In one class, students learned about the history of the bachata, merengue and salsa before practicing their dance moves. In another classroom, students crafted paper carnations and Mexican mirrors. Lastly, the participants learned about Guatemalan worry dolls and their origins before making their own dolls to take home.
