Joined by family, friends, Board of Education members and central office administrators, North Babylon High School held its annual National Honor Society Induction in the school’s auditorium on Nov. 13. Ninety-three new inductees were welcomed into the Honor Society chapter.
National Honor Society advisor Shelley Seeno welcomed guests to the ceremony. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kenneth Graham offered his congratulatory remarks to the newest Honor Society members. National Honor Society officers then spoke about the pillars of scholarship, leadership, character and service before lighting their respective candles.
Each inductee was called to the stage one by one to be honored. Together, the candidates for induction to the National Honor Society recited the pledge and were officially welcomed as members.
