Superheroes at Robert Moses

Posted Date: 12/01/24 (11:00 PM)

Students in Mr. Brodmerkel’s science class at Robert Moses Middle School recently had a special visit from Mrs. Tegan with the Cornell Cooperative Extension Program of Cedar Beach. The interactive lesson educated students on promoting awareness in protecting our local waterways and animal species. Throughout the lesson, students learned about harmful pollutants that can run out through our drains, such as fertilizer and pesticides, that negatively impact the environment. Students’ engagement in the lesson made them "stormwater superheroes."
