Heartfelt Messages from DeLuca Elementary Students

William E. DeLuca Elementary School is getting ready to celebrate P.S. I Love You Day on Feb. 14. The school’s special area teachers came together to organize a day full of love and gratitude for local heroes. In celebration of P.S. I Love You Day, students are spreading kindness and joy across the community with thoughtful, handmade gifts.

Kindergarten and first graders crafted beautiful handprint heart posters for first responders in the Town of Babylon. Second and third graders created colorful cut-out hand hearts with heartfelt messages of support for these everyday heroes. Finally, fourth and fifth grade students made special cards to brighten the days of veterans and senior citizens.

“Together, we’re showing our appreciation for those who serve our community, spreading love, and making a positive impact right here at home,” said William E. DeLuca Principal Vincent Fantauzzi.
