Woods Road Assembly Celebrates Black History Month

As part of a Black History Month celebration and sponsored by the school’s Parent-Teacher Association, students at Woods Road Elementary School participated in a special assembly from Project Move on Feb. 6. Through dance, drums and sounds, audience members learned about culture and embraced each other’s uniqueness. Students became active participants in the lessons, learning the dances and drum rhythms.
