Zeta Phi Beta Visits Elementary Schools

In celebration of Black History Month, Zeta Phi Beta visited elementary schools throughout the month of February for various presentations and read alouds with classes. Presenters Selena Durio and Denise Leary spoke to fourth and fifth-grade students about their trip to Ghana and the history of the Ashanti Kingdom.  Mrs. Durio and Ms. Leary shared some of the kingdom's traditions, the government, matriarchal clans, and the meaning of gold in their history.
