Students in Jessenia Morales’ fifth grade dual language class at Parliament Place Elementary School recently conducted research on an endangered animal. Using Canva on their Chromebooks, they created infographics in Spanish to show quick facts about the animal’s physical features for survival.
Fifth graders wrote about the threats that these animals face while also promoting ways people can help to prevent them from being endangered. Students then illustrated and labeled the different aspects of the ecosystem in which the endangered animals inhabit. They completed the project by presenting their research to peers.
