North Babylon Marching Band Rehearses With Special Guest

Dr. Andrew Pease, associate professor of music at Hartwick College, visited the North Babylon High School marching band on Oct. 9. He learned about the program through North Babylon alumni Xiomara Aristede and Jayden Beatty, who are continuing their musical journeys at Hartwick while majoring in philosophy and computer science, respectively. Impressed by their dedication and musicianship, Dr. Pease asked to visit North Babylon to observe a rehearsal and speak with students about the value of staying involved in music throughout college and beyond — no matter their field of study.
