Kindergartners Investigate Pumpkin Properties
Posted Date: 11/10/25 (:00 AM)
Kindergarten scientists in Ms. Rebholz’s class at William E. DeLuca Elementary School explored pumpkins through a hands-on investigation. Students used their senses to observe how pumpkins look, feel and smell, as well as measuring and weighing them. They also tested whether pumpkins sink or float before carving them to learn about their different parts and properties. After recording their findings, students decorated their pumpkins and proudly displayed them in the courtyard for all to enjoy.
