DeLuca Honors Veterans with Annual Hero Parade
William E. DeLuca Elementary School proudly celebrated its 10th annual Veterans Day parade and assembly on Nov. 10, honoring those who have served the country.
Invited guests, including veterans with personal connections to the students, were warmly welcomed as they paraded through the hallways of the school. Students and staff lined the corridors waving American flags, holding handmade signs of appreciation, and wearing red, white and blue in a vibrant display of patriotism and gratitude.
Following the parade, the celebration continued with a student-led assembly that paid tribute to the veterans in attendance. Students expressed their appreciation through words of thanks and performances. Each grade level took part in the program, singing patriotic songs that reflected pride and respect for those who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
The annual event continues to be a cherished tradition, uniting the school community in celebration of service, sacrifice and country.
