Language, Literacy and Leadership: Honor Society Visits Elementary School

Posted Date: 02/04/26 (09:00 AM)

On Jan. 28, North Babylon High School World Language Honor Society members visited Parliament Place Elementary School to read and discuss books in Spanish with students in grades K–5 and connect with dual language learners. This event marked the third and final read aloud in the series, providing high school students with an opportunity to share their language skills while fostering a love of reading among younger learners. The district extends special thanks to World Language teacher and Honor Society advisor Maria Masullo, as well as the dedicated staff at Parliament Place Elementary School, for their continued collaboration and commitment to supporting bilingual education.
