Posted Date: 04/10/26 (09:00 AM)

Robert Moses Middle School held its eighth annual Career Day on March 26, providing students with valuable insight into a wide range of professions and career pathways. The event, organized by the school’s guidance department, welcomed more than 30 guest speakers who visited classrooms throughout the day to share their experiences and expertise.

Representing a diverse array of fields, presenters included artists, police officers, teachers, firefighters, doctors, nurses, politicians and more. Each speaker offered a unique perspective on their profession, discussing their educational journeys, daily responsibilities and the skills necessary for success in their respective careers.

Students had the opportunity to engage directly with the presenters, asking questions and learning firsthand about the rewards and challenges of various career paths. These meaningful conversations helped students begin to think about their own interests and future goals, while also highlighting the many opportunities available to them.

Eighth grade student ambassadors played an important role in the success of the event, assisting with logistics and guiding guest speakers throughout the building. Their leadership and professionalism helped ensure that the day ran smoothly and that each presenter felt welcomed.
Career Day continues to be a highly anticipated event at Robert Moses Middle School, offering students a chance to connect classroom learning to real-world applications. By exposing students to a wide variety of careers, the program encourages exploration, inspires ambition and helps students envision their future paths.
