Bulldog Boutique Helps Students Prep for Prom
The hallways of North Babylon High School were filled with excitement on April 28 as the school hosted its annual Bulldog Boutique, a free event designed to help seniors prepare for their upcoming prom.
The boutique offers students a wide selection of formal attire at no cost. This year’s event was the largest to date, featuring an extensive collection of dresses, suits, shirts, shoes and accessories. The district also opened up the event to neighboring school districts.
According to teacher and organizer Veronica Murphy, the boutique saw an increase in donations. Volunteers were on hand throughout the event to assist students with selecting outfits and organizing the boutique space, creating a welcoming and supportive shopping experience. Once students made their selections, they were able to take their items home in preparation for prom.
In addition to the annual event, the Bulldog Boutique remains open to students during school hours on the second floor of the high school, continuing to provide access to formalwear and other clothing throughout the year.
The Bulldog Boutique reflects the district’s commitment to supporting students and ensuring that all seniors have the opportunity to fully participate in memorable milestone events like prom.
