Prekindergarten students at Marion G. Vedder Elementary School had “snow” much fun during their snowflake celebration on Jan. 24. During the winter-themed event, students rotated through different stations as they participated in some cold weather activities.
Students first tried their accuracy skills by tossing snowballs into a bucket. They also worked their fine motor skills by using tongs to grab a snowball and place it in a yeti’s mouth. As part of a STEM-based activity, students created one-of-a-kind snowballs using toothpicks and marshmallows. The prekindergartners also showed off their creative side while at coloring stations themed for winter.
